Responsibilities
Design and maintain pipelines that capture and process operational and customer data with minimal latency
Enable proactive monitoring and rapid response to business trends and anomalies
Develop and maintain custom Python-based frameworks for scalable data ingestion and transformation
Leverage Microsoft Fabric for orchestrating and managing data workflows across the enterprise
Build internal customer-facing applications using AngularJS for responsive and intuitive user interfaces
Implement backend services using Python-based AWS Lambdas and API Gateway, ensuring scalability and performance
Use PostgreSQL for operational data storage and transactional workloads
Employ Teradata for enterprise-scale analytics, historical data analysis, and reporting
Design and publish Power BI dashboards to visualize key business metrics
Provide stakeholders with interactive, self-service reporting tools to support strategic and operational decisions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
Automate deployment, monitoring, and management of cloud applications
Qualification
Required
Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency
Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States
1+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on cloud technologies
Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Basic understanding of AWS services and cloud computing concepts
Languages & Frameworks: Python, AngularJS
Cloud & APIs: AWS Lambda, API Gateway
Data Platforms: Microsoft Fabric, PostgreSQL, Teradata
BI Tools: Power BI
Custom Tools: Proprietary Python frameworks for data harvesting and processing
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or AWS CodePipeline
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Open to receiving constructive feedback and continuously improving skills and performance based on insights from peers and supervisors
Execute with a Sense of Urgency
Preferred
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related technical field is preferred
Experience in D3 PowerBI Development
Experience with microservices and serverless computing
Experience coding in React is a plus
Understanding of networking and security principles in cloud environments
