Responsibilities

Write and test product or system development code
Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies
Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency)
Collaborate with stakeholders to define and lead execution of a roadmap for Cloud SDK's client libraries for Node.js
Work with the Cloud SDK team and the Cloud product team to design/implement new features to support external developers and Cloud product roadmaps

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages
3 years of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, Golang, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent
3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products
1 year of experience with software design and architecture
Experience with API design

Preferred

Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field
5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms
1 year of experience in a technical leadership role
Experience developing accessible technologies
Experience with Software Development Kits
