Responsibilities
Design and engineer server-side software and web services that support iRhythm’s cloud-based platforms and integrate with internal and external healthcare systems
Partner closely with product management to understand requirements, translate clinical and business needs into technical solutions, and deepen your understanding of the end-to-end product lifecycle
Contribute as an active member of a scrum team, providing technical direction and regular status updates on assigned work
Collaborate with SQA to ensure software quality, reliability, and compliance within a regulated medical device environment
Troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during testing to support stable, high-performing releases
Strengthen the engineering culture through thoughtful code reviews and unit testing practices
Qualification
Required
2+ years of Java, object oriented programming and software engineering
1+ years of developing RESTful web services
1+ years in a subset of mySQL, Spring, AWS
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
BA/BS in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent experience
