Responsibilities
Assist in the assembly of production pre-production builds
Aid in development of manufacturing processes for New Product Introduction (NPI)
Aid in development and execution of product build instructions
Collaborate with engineering peers on product manufacturing process improvements
Collaborate with engineering peers on implementing manufacturing tools
Collaborate with engineering peers on Design for Manufacturability (DFM) reviews for design enhancement
Collect manufacturing and test data, analyze, recommend and implement improvements
Verify completed work, checking dimensions, materials to be used and quantities per the verification plan
Assist in implementation of Kaizens and lean six sigma efforts
Qualification
Required
Self-motivated manufacturing engineering student
Ability to assist in the assembly of production pre-production builds
Ability to aid in development of manufacturing processes for New Product Introduction (NPI)
Ability to aid in development and execution of product build instructions
Ability to collaborate with engineering peers on product manufacturing process improvements
Ability to collaborate with engineering peers on implementing manufacturing tools
Ability to collaborate with engineering peers on Design for Manufacturability (DFM) reviews for design enhancement
Ability to collect manufacturing and test data, analyze, recommend and implement improvements
Ability to verify completed work, checking dimensions, materials to be used and quantities per the verification plan
Ability to assist in implementation of Kaizens and lean six sigma efforts
