Responsibilities
Define and track key financial health metrics, providing a clear view of performance, risk, and opportunity
Present historical performance and forward-looking financial projections to executive leadership and investors
Translate complex financial data into compelling, decision-oriented narratives
Lead cash flow, revenue, and scenario modeling to support investment planning and capital allocation
Partner with Capital, Acquisitions, and Investor Relations teams on investor reporting, transactions, and strategic initiatives
Oversee all accounting and finance functions, including corporate, property, and construction accounting, AP/AR, treasury, and controls
Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant reporting across 70+ operating entities
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A in coordination with the FP&A team
Manage tax compliance, audits, and external CPA relationships, including depreciation strategies and investor K-1 preparation
Own financial data integrity across systems including NetSuite, Concur, InvestNext, IMS, QuickBooks Online, Power BI, and StorEdge
Design and enforce internal controls that ensure accuracy, scalability, and audit readiness
Drive system enhancements, chart of accounts design, subsidiary setup, and banking integrations
Champion continuous improvement initiatives that increase efficiency, insight, and scalability across the organization
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance and accounting team, including offshore professionals
Serve as a trusted financial advisor to executive leadership
Maintain strong relationships with banking partners, system vendors, and external advisors
Collaborate cross-functionally to align financial strategy with operational execution
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
10+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, preferably within real estate or asset-driven environments
Deep expertise in NetSuite and financial systems integration
Proven ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels
Preferred
CPA and/or Master's degree preferred
