Responsibilities
Own full and partial month-end closes
Prepare reconciliations, financial statements, and performance analysis
Support budget, forecast, and operational financial reviews
Ensure GAAP compliance and implement client-specific controls
Identify inefficiencies and design better processes using technology
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Controllers, CFOs, Technology, Optimization)
Present financial insights and recommendations to client leadership teams
Qualification
Required
Data-driven accountant
Strategic thinker
Experience with BI and data models
Ability to use information systems to solve business problems
Desire to grow into a Controller role
Experience with month-end closes
Ability to prepare reconciliations, financial statements, and performance analysis
Support for budget, forecast, and operational financial reviews
Knowledge of GAAP compliance
Ability to implement client-specific controls
Experience in identifying inefficiencies and designing better processes using technology
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (Controllers, CFOs, Technology, Optimization)
Ability to present financial insights and recommendations to client leadership teams
Proactive and organized
Ability to deliver on time and within budget
Clear communication skills
Ability to leverage technology to reduce redundancies and drive efficiency
Ability to think beyond the numbers and create solutions that positively impact clients
