Responsibilities
Coordinate with third party commissioning agents on behalf of general contractor
Assist with third-party commissioning agent services
Assist constructability reviews focused on controls, building performance optimization, and operations maintenance
Prepare commissioning plans, specifications, and checklists
Assist review of submittals, operation and maintenance manuals, start-up reports, checklists, and training programs for commissioning plans
Document commissioning outcomes, identify performance deficiencies, and collaborate with stakeholders to recommend corrective actions
Perform site visits to coordinate commissioning, evaluate new and existing systems, witness equipment start-up and testing
Assist with training operation and maintenance personnel reviewing operating modes, sequences of operations, and maintenance requirements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Architectural Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
Strong attention to detail
Understanding of site safety procedures, including electrical safety
Excellent technical and business writing skills, with the ability to clearly communicate sustainability concepts
Self-motivated and capable of managing priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
