Hirewell is a U.S.-based consumer products organization seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join its in-house legal team. This role will serve as a key legal partner to the business, supporting commercial operations across procurement, manufacturing, marketing, and corporate functions.

Responsibilities

Draft, review, and negotiate a high volume of vendor, supplier, and commercial contracts
Provide day-to-day legal support to internal business partners across multiple functions
Advise on general commercial matters, including separation agreements and legal inquiries
Identify opportunities to improve legal workflows, contract turnaround time, and scalability
Support the implementation or optimization of a contract lifecycle management system (technology- or AI-enabled tools a plus)
Partner with internal regulatory and compliance teams on product-related matters, including marketing claims, promotions, and risk mitigation
Manage and coordinate with external counsel as needed
Serve as a trusted, business-oriented legal advisor in a fast-paced environment

Required

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
Strong judgment, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities
Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with internal stakeholders

Preferred

Prior in-house legal experience strongly preferred
Experience supporting commercial contracts in a CPG, manufacturing, or similar environment is highly valued
