Responsibilities
Perform engineering work in various engineering fields and design services during construction with an emphasis on wastewater and water linear infrastructure and/or treatment process mechanical design and design services during construction
Support engineering evaluations, execute design calculations, and prepare reports, plans, and specifications with support of senior level engineering staff
Support construction administration, including shop drawing reviews and RFI responses, and the development of construction change orders
Interface directly with Clients and third-party construction managers, present engineering findings
Perform field activities such as construction inspections, site inspections, contractor oversight
Support administrative and project management related tasks for various engineering design projects, including management of subconsultants
Support environmental studies, permitting and alternative analyses
Perform data collection, manipulation, analysis, and documentation
Assist with business development pursuits writing technical proposals and assisting with budgeting
Qualification
Required
BS Degree in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or Mechanical)
0-2 years of professional work experience in the design and/or design services during construction of water/wastewater treatment plants and conveyance systems
Candidate must have strong verbal/written communication skills, organizational skills, and the ability to work well both independently and in team environment
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Teams, Outlook). Understanding of Autodesk Revit software
