Virtual Support Analyst

Mayo Behavioral Health Services is seeking an entry-level Virtual Support Analyst to provide remote technical and administrative support that enables efficient delivery of behavioral health services. The role emphasizes timely communication, accurate documentation, and adherence to company procedures while assisting with technical support for telehealth platforms and scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

Respond promptly and professionally to inbound support requests via phone, email, and chat; provide first-line troubleshooting and user assistance for telehealth platforms, scheduling tools, and office software
Triage and prioritize incidents and service requests; escalate complex technical or clinical-administrative issues to senior staff or management per established procedures
Create, update, and maintain accurate records of support interactions and incident resolutions using the organization’s ticketing and documentation systems
Assist with scheduling and virtual session setup for clinicians and clients, including pre-session connectivity checks and guidance on platform use
Perform routine data entry, basic reporting, and system updates consistent with company practices and data quality standards
Contribute to and maintain a knowledge base of common issues, standard operating procedures, and user guides to improve support efficiency
Participate in training, quality reviews, and meetings to maintain current knowledge of relevant systems, policies, and best practices

Required

Associate degree, undergraduate studies, or equivalent coursework in information technology, health administration, business, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered
Entry-level; 0–1 years of related experience in technical support, customer service, healthcare administration, or a similar environment preferred
Basic knowledge of common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, web browsers) and familiarity with teleconferencing/telehealth platforms; ability and willingness to learn proprietary systems and electronic health record (EHR) software
Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills with the ability to provide clear, courteous customer service in a virtual environment
Analytical and problem-solving abilities sufficient to gather facts, diagnose common user issues, and recommend appropriate solutions or escalations
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet service expectations and deadlines
Commitment to confidentiality and compliance with privacy and security requirements; willingness to complete HIPAA and other required training
