Responsibilities

Manages and cultivates relationships with business clients, assists them with their financial needs, and promotes banks products and services
Acquires new business through targeted marketing efforts and proactive outreach and by expanding and nurturing existing client relationships
Represents the Bank in the community for the purpose of generating additional business and identifying potential CRA opportunities for the bank
Understands the local market and proactively develops relationships with centers of influence and internal and external networks and referral sources to ensure ongoing growth
Understands and interprets financial and cash flow statements to assess and analyze financial conditions of companies and industry trends
Delivers exceptional customer service and instils confidence in customers by listening attentively and asking insightful questions to understand the customers’ needs and preferences and takes prompt actions to address immediate needs
Adheres to business banking lending processes, policies, procedures, legal, regulatory, audit, and ethical requirements
Ensures all requests are processed accurately and timely. Collaborates with internal and external partners to ensure seamless service delivery and to provide a high-quality customer service experience
Discusses and promotes all Bank products and services to establish complete client relationship and collaborates with business partners, bringing in product specialists to help problem solve or structure a transaction
Learns and understands the key components of the client’s industry, business and personal goals to effectively make recommendations of the bank’s products and services that would meet the client’s needs
Collaborates with internal teams, such as credit underwriters, analysts, and customer loan servicing officers to deliver comprehensive banking solutions to clients in a timely manner
Attends networking and community events to build a strong professional network and represent the bank for the purpose of brand recognition, generating additional business, and identifying potential CRA opportunities for the bank
Evaluates client’s financial health and risk profiles to determine creditworthiness and suitability for different banking products and services
Stays informed about market trends, industry insights, and regulatory changes to proactively identify opportunities for clients and for the bank
Understands the local market and proactively develops relationships with centers of influence, and internal and external networks and referral sources to ensure ongoing growth
Monitors portfolio for quality, risk, and adherence to policy. Works closely with portfolio managers, Management, and Credit Administration, to ensure sound portfolio management, client introductions, and timely resolution of issues

Preferred

High school diploma or equivalent, required. Bachelor's degree preferred
Proven track record of sales, prospecting new business and enhancing existing relationships
Business RM I: 3 years of relevant experience in related field, preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Business RM II: 4 years of relevant experience in related field, preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
A strong understanding of financial products and services, as well as proficiency in financial analysis and risk assessment
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are crucial for building and maintaining relationships with business clients
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to complete a high volume of work with accuracy
