They are seeking intern candidates passionate about the Cardiac specialty with the goal of future RN promotion on that unit. The nurse intern position requires one 12-hour shift per week under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, providing care for children with cardiac anomalies.

Responsibilities
Under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse, performs nursing tasks for which he/she has been trained and has demonstrated competency through a skills checklist
Ability to communicate and understand detailed instructions relating to basic patient care and transport
Must be able to work and stand for long periods, as well as lift and position patients weighing up to 75 pounds
Qualification
Required
Senior level status in any nursing program required

BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/National Safety Council
Preferred
