Responsibilities
Design and implement logging, metrics, and tracing systems
Develop dashboards and alerting strategies
Ensure platform SLA/SLO tracking and reliability
Troubleshoot production issues using observability data
Automate observability tooling and integrations
Collaborate with SRE and dev teams on improvements
Qualification
Required
Experience with tools like Splunk, Elastic, Dynatrace, or Prometheus
Understanding of distributed systems
Knowledge of telemetry standards (OpenTelemetry)
Scripting and automation ability
Experience building dashboards and alerting
Knowledge of SRE principles
Preferred
SRE or DevOps background
Experience with AIOps tools
Cloud observability (AWS/Azure) expertise
Certifications in monitoring tools
