Senior Human Resources Generalist

Empower Associates is seeking an experienced Senior Human Resources Generalist to lead and manage comprehensive HR functions within their organization. This pivotal role involves strategic planning, employee relations, talent management, and compliance with employment laws.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals, including workforce planning and succession planning
Manage talent acquisition processes from sourcing through onboarding using ATS platforms like iCIMS, Taleo, or Paylocity
Oversee employee orientation programs, performance management systems, and employee evaluation procedures
Administer benefits programs including health insurance, workers' compensation, and retirement plans; ensure compliance with applicable laws such as FMLA and OSHA
Lead change management initiatives to facilitate organizational development and culture transformation
Handle employee relations issues with effective conflict management techniques; serve as a trusted advisor for managers and staff
Ensure compliance with employment & labor law regulations; manage contracts and HR documentation accurately through data collection and data entry processes
Conduct training & development sessions to enhance employee skills and engagement
Manage HRIS systems such as Workday, UltiPro, Kronos, Dayforce, or similar platforms for data integrity and reporting
Support affirmative action planning, diversity initiatives, and social media management related to employer branding
Collaborate on organization design projects to optimize structure for efficiency and scalability

Required

Proven experience in human resources management at a senior level with a comprehensive understanding of human capital management practices
Strong knowledge of employment & labor law, OSHA standards, workers' compensation policies, and HR compliance requirements
Proficiency with HRIS platforms including Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM Cloud, UltiPro, Kronos, or equivalent systems
Experience in talent acquisition tools such as ATS (iCIMS, Taleo), social media recruitment strategies, and HR sourcing techniques
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously
Ability to analyze data for strategic decision-making related to workforce management and organizational design
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field
