Teach courses as assigned by the Director and the Lead Instructor
Create course plans and syllabi based on provided curriculum
Attend all mandatory departmental and faculty meetings
Participate in program activities
Work closely with the Director and Lead Instructor to meet students' needs
Fluency in another language (Turkish, Spanish, Vietnamese, Arabic) is desirable
Familiarity with Islamic culture and customs is preferred
Qualification
Required
A Master's degree in TESOL, Linguistics, English, or other closely related fields
A minimum of 2 years teaching academic ESL in an adult education environment is required
TEFL certificate holders with a Bachelor's degree and extensive teaching experience – a minimum of 5 years teaching abroad - may be considered
Having only a K-12 ESL teaching certification or endorsement is not applicable to this position
This position requires flexibility in working with international students in an intensive English program
