Director of Sales - Teleoperation Solutions (Multi-Industry Focus)
Phoenix Pro Connect is seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Sales Director for one of their clients, a leader in teleoperation and robotics solutions. The role involves expanding the adoption of their technology platform across diverse industries and building strategic relationships with OEMs, fleet operators, and mobility providers.

Responsibilities
Drive new business and partnerships for our teleoperation platform across public transit, trucking, robotaxi, defense, and robotics sectors
Position the platform as a dual-purpose solution—monitoring platform and control interface—enabling human oversight of autonomous and semi-autonomous systems
Engage with OEMs that embed teleoperation in their vehicles and with fleet operators or end customers that deploy the platform directly
Promote specific autonomous vehicle models and technology partners when it helps increase software sales
Identify new use cases where teleoperation adds value, even for devices that are not fully autonomous, such as inspection or security robots
Collaborate with Product and Marketing teams to craft sales materials, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept projects that highlight our unique capabilities
Represent the company at industry events and trade shows, supporting market education and advocacy for remote-operation safety
Maintain a healthy opportunity pipeline and meet quarterly growth targets through consultative, relationship-based selling
Qualification
Required
15+ years of experience in B2B technology or mobility sales, preferably within autonomous systems, teleoperation, robotics, or intelligent transportation
Proven record of building partnerships with OEMs, fleet operators, or defense contractors
Strong technical literacy with cloud-based platforms, networking, and remote-control technologies
Experience navigating regulated industries and working with public sector entities
Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic relationship management skills
Entrepreneurial, adaptable, and driven to pioneer new markets
40% flexibility to travel (Domestic and International)
