Epic Willow Ambulatory (Inventory) Implementation Analyst
Shyft6 is seeking an experienced Epic Willow Ambulatory / Inventory Analyst to support a large-scale Epic implementation for a health system transitioning from MEDITECH and eClinicalWorks to Epic. The role involves designing, building, testing, and deploying Willow Ambulatory and Inventory workflows to ensure compliant medication management across outpatient settings.

Responsibilities
Support the design, build, and configuration of Epic Willow Ambulatory and Inventory modules for outpatient pharmacy and medication workflows
Assist with medication master data setup, inventory configuration, dispensing workflows, and charging interfaces as applicable
Translate current-state workflows from MEDITECH and eClinicalWorks into optimized Epic future-state designs
Collaborate with pharmacy leadership to ensure workflows align with clinical best practices, regulatory standards, and operational goals
Support medication and inventory data conversion activities from legacy systems into Epic
Participate in validation of converted data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and usability
Assist in resolving conversion issues and supporting remediation efforts
Develop and execute test scripts for: Unit testing, Integrated testing, User acceptance testing (UAT)
Support go-live preparation activities including: Workflow walkthroughs, End-user validation, Issue triage and resolution
Provide at-the-elbow support during go-live and early post-live stabilization periods
Work closely with: Pharmacy stakeholders, Clinical leadership, Revenue cycle and supply chain teams (as applicable), Epic technical and integration teams
Participate in project meetings, design sessions, and status updates
Provide clear documentation and knowledge transfer to internal teams
Qualification
Required
Epic Willow Ambulatory certification (required)
Experience with Epic Inventory (certification preferred; hands-on experience required)
Prior experience supporting a net-new Epic implementation, preferably involving a conversion from MEDITECH and/or eClinicalWorks
Strong understanding of outpatient pharmacy workflows and inventory management processes
Experience supporting testing, go-live, and post-live stabilization efforts
Ability to work independently in a remote consulting environment
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred
Experience supporting multi-facility or enterprise Epic implementations
Familiarity with medication charging, supply workflows, and downstream integrations
Prior work in pediatric or complex health system environments (a plus)
