Responsibilities
Prepare Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs) with hydrology calculations and erosion & sediment control plans
Devise construction plans, design potable water and sanitary sewer facilities, stormwater infrastructure, as well as land grading, driveways, and sidewalks
Finalize engineering studies and reports for water, sanitary sewer, or stormwater projects
Compose State Environmental Quality Review (SEQR) documentation and municipal permit applications
Office-based construction support with occasional field visits
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or similar field
Professional Engineer (PE) license required
Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a strong portfolio of completed projects
Familiarity with CAD and computer hydrology programs
Must be able to perform work in both an office and on-site environment
Strong technical writing skills, solid communication skills, and experience with proposal preparation and presentation
