Sales Executive

Responsibilities

Identify and develop partnerships with brokerages seeking to outsource or modernize their small-commercial servicing with the Layr platform
Leverage HubSpot CRM to manage and track lead interactions and pipeline progress
Execute outbound prospecting campaigns using LinkedIn messaging to engage with key decision-makers
Own the entire sales process of prospecting à closing à implementation support à handoff to partner success and customer support
Conduct thorough research to understand prospects’ business needs and challenges
Qualify leads based on predefined criteria and schedule meetings or demos for the sales team
Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to optimize lead generation strategies and campaigns
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of lead interactions and status in CRM systems
Close new logos driving tens of millions of dollars in net premium growth
Continuously learn and stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions

Required

Proven experience as a Business Development Representative or similar role in a B2B environment
Exceptional ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision makers within insurance brokerages
Deep understanding of Insurance Brokerage operations
Effectively communicate Layr's value proposition impacting Brokerages KPIs
In-depth knowledge and proficiency in using HubSpot CRM, and LinkedIn messaging tools
Strong understanding of sales methodologies and lead qualification processes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a persuasive and confident approach
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Collaborative and supportive team environment focused on achieving company goals
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to deliver timely results
Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity, takes ownership, and constantly looks for ways to improve outcomes for partners and teammates

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field preferred
