Capsule is a new kind of pharmacy that hand-delivers medication and emphasizes customer service. The Staff Pharmacist will ensure the accurate delivery of prescription orders and collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

Check prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and physician instructions
Identify and resolve prescribing, formulary, and therapeutic issues, collaborating proactively with healthcare providers to recommend formulary substitutions when deemed appropriate
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
Provide prospective drug utilization review (DUR) to maintain high quality assurance practices
Deliver excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries, concerns, and medication-related questions
Meet pharmacy services service levels agreements (SLAs) and accuracy/quality targets

Qualification

New York pharmacist licensePharmacy experienceTeam collaborationDetail-orientedCustomer service

Required

Valid New York pharmacist license in good standing required
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
You have a strong passion for helping people and delivering exceptional patient care outcomes and can work flexible pharmacy hours including late nights, weekends, and holidays if needed
You are available to work within the following hours: An overnight pharmacist shift on a SET schedule of Sunday 7:30PM to 5:30AM, Monday to Wednesday 6PM to 4:00AM

Preferred

1-2+ years of relevant pharmacy experience, retail pharmacy setting is preferred
