Responsibilities
Lead, develop, coach, and maintain accountability of the Accounting team
Ownership of the Credit and Collections team (CFS) and Accounts Receivable
Maintain safe custody of assets, financial records, and corporate records
Maintain adequate accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
Treasury Management
Oversight of payroll
Employee 401(k) Benefit Plan administration and ownership
Ownership of Intacct G/L System and Chart of Accounts, ensuring maximum utilization and meaningful business insight
Ownership of Business Insurance
Ownership of the monthly close process
Ownership of the annual audit; work with external audit firm to provide required information
Ownership of income taxes; work with external accounting firm to support annual tax filings
Collaborate with the Director of FP&A on:
Monthly forecasting
Annual planning
Monthly financial reporting
Collaborate with the Director of FP&A on various analyses as needed
Partner with functional department heads to monitor and track monthly spend vs. budget
Support leadership by providing clear, actionable financial insights to drive sound business decisions
Drive process improvements and Kaizen initiatives within the accounting team
Perform other duties as assigned

Ability to provide direction, coaching, and accountability to staff
Ability to receive direction and coaching
Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize workload effectively
Strong collaboration skills across departments
Customer service mindset
10+ years of experience in an accounting role, including 4+ years in leadership
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
Exceptional Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills
Advanced proficiency with Sage Intacct
