Responsibilities
Manage the full lifecycle of domestic and international trademark portfolios which include drafting and filing applications, Statements of Use, and maintenance/renewal documents
Conduct and analyze preliminary “knock-out” searches using SAEGIS or Corsearch
Assist in Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) proceedings by gathering evidence of use, drafting notices of opposition, and managing discovery timelines
Maintain and optimize complex docketing systems CPI to ensure zero missed deadlines
Qualification
Required
6+ years of experience managing domestic and intellectual property portfolios
Proficiency with USPTO filings
6+ years of dedicated trademark prosecution experience in a law firm
Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate from an ABA approved program
Mastery of USPTO TEAS and familiarity with WIPO Madrid Protocol filings
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word) and IP management software (CPI or equivalent); Corsearch/SAEGIS
Familiarity with copyright registrations and domain name disputes (UDRP)
Preferred
NALA CP/ACP or NFPA credentials
