Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy Python-based machine learning solutions for large-scale data analysis and business use cases
Build and maintain ETL and data pipelines to process both structured and unstructured datasets efficiently
Perform Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA), feature engineering, model validation, and performance tuning
Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business teams to understand requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
Optimize ML models and data pipelines for scalability, performance, reliability, and accuracy
Implement and support model deployment and monitoring using cloud-based MLOps practices
Ensure data quality, governance, and best practices in data modeling and pipeline design
Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and promote engineering best practices and standards
Contribute to architectural decisions and continuously improve ML and data platforms
Qualification
Required
Strong proficiency in Python, with extensive hands-on experience using: Pandas, NumPy
Scikit-learn
FastAPI and/or Flask for ML services and APIs
Solid understanding of machine learning workflows, including: Data preprocessing and feature engineering, Model training, evaluation, and validation, Model deployment and lifecycle management
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services such as: Azure Machine Learning, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Synapse Analytics, Related Microsoft AI/ML and data services
Experience implementing cloud-based MLOps practices (CI/CD for ML, model versioning, monitoring)
Strong SQL skills with experience in complex queries and performance optimization
Good understanding of data modeling, warehousing concepts, and analytical data structures
Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
Excellent communication skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Proven ability to lead, mentor, and guide junior team members
Preferred
Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies: Docker, Kubernetes
Exposure to large-scale or distributed data processing environments
