Technical Publications Manager
Long Wave Inc. is seeking a Technical Publications Manager to oversee the lifecycle of technical documentation across various programs. The role involves writing, reviewing, and editing documents, managing budgets, and collaborating with technical and executive teams to ensure project goals are met.

Responsibilities
Write, review, and edit documents to communicate complex technical material into a readable and clear manner for use in technical, operations, and maintenance manuals
Review technical documentation in support of Naval Air Training and Operating Procedures Standardization (NATOPS), Naval Air Training and Information Program (NATIP), Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) and aircraft test procedures for use in training documentation
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Experience managing budgets and resources
Ability to collaborate with all levels of staff and leadership
Ability to manage complex tasks from inception to end
Good time management and organizational skills
Work closely with engineering and technical personnel to develop documentation and training material throughout the developmental stages of various projects
Work as a member of a team to ensure the goals of the project are met in a timely manner
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
US Citizenship Required
NO VISA SUPPORT or C2C
On-Site in OKC Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience totaling 10 or more years
US Citizen
In-depth knowledge of technical, operations, and maintenance manuals
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Microsoft Teams
Preferred
Active DoD Security Clearance Preferred
CAM (Control Account Manager) Experience
Background in defense aerospace or technical development
Experience with US Navy maintenance and operations preferred
Experience working as a Government Contractor or with contracts, DOD experience preferred
Experience using Eagle and Arbortext software is highly desirable
Preferred active DoD Top Secret Clearance

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
