Responsibilities
Own core accounting functions – Manage the full cycle from journal entries and reconciliations through month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
Support A/P – Lead accounts payable operations including invoice posting, A/P aging review, and weekly A/P runs to keep the business operating with predictable cash outflows
Keep us compliant – Coordinate Commercial Activity, Sales, and Excise Tax filings across multiple states and jurisdictions
Know the numbers behind the product – Handle product costing, track ingredient costs, and participate in inventory counts
Variety across business lines – Support hospitality, manufacturing, and distribution operations – no two days look the same
Build, not just maintain – Develop process automation that drives real efficiency improvements
Be a business partner – Work directly with department leaders to provide financial insights and identify opportunities
Qualification
Required
Detail-driven with a focus on accurate, timely work
Experience managing full cycle accounting functions including journal entries and reconciliations
Ability to lead accounts payable operations including invoice posting and A/P aging review
Knowledge of Commercial Activity, Sales, and Excise Tax filings across multiple states and jurisdictions
Experience in product costing and tracking ingredient costs
Ability to support various business lines including hospitality, manufacturing, and distribution
Experience in developing process automation for efficiency improvements
Strong communication skills to work directly with department leaders and provide financial insights
