$14/hr - $14/hrDel Mar College - Corporate Services is seeking a Web Services Technician Pool to assist the Web Services team in maintaining and supporting the College’s web resources. This entry-level role provides hands-on experience in web technologies, accessibility, and IT support, with responsibilities including updating website content and providing technical support to faculty, staff, and students.
Responsibilities
Update and maintain website content using a Content Management System (CMS) to ensure accuracy and timeliness
Ensure compliance with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) by reviewing and adjusting web content for usability; training will be provided
Assist with Learning Management System (LMS) support for faculty and students, including troubleshooting and basic guidance
Provide first-level technical support for Microsoft 365 and other web-based applications, resolving common issues and escalating when necessary
Respond to help desk tickets and participate in small projects under the supervision of senior staff to support web services initiatives
Qualification
Required
Basic computer literacy and familiarity with common web browsers
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new technologies
Exposure to HTML/CSS or any coding language
Experience with Microsoft Office
