Senior Propulsion Engineer
Sky Limit Systems is seeking a Propulsion Engineer to support the design, development, testing, and verification of spacecraft propulsion systems. This role contributes across the full propulsion lifecycle, from requirements and conceptual design through hardware build, test, verification, and mission operations support.

Responsibilities
Design, analyze, and develop propulsion systems and components across monopropellant, bipropellant, cryogenic, and cold gas architectures
Support propulsion requirements development, verification planning, and lifecycle traceability
Design, build, and operate propulsion test hardware for development, qualification, and acceptance testing
Analyze and validate fluid and system-level models using test data
Support hardware integration, anomaly resolution, test readiness reviews, and flight preparation
Document test procedures, configurations, results, and verification artifacts
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related Engineering
Strong fundamentals in fluid mechanics and engineering test methods
Experience with laboratory or test hardware
Proficiency with CAD and engineering analysis tools
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Propulsion or fluid systems background
Experience with valves, plumbing, pressurization systems, or propulsion components
Test instrumentation and data acquisition systems
MATLAB, Python, LabVIEW, or National Instruments tools
