Responsibilities
Under the direct supervision of a respiratory therapist, assists in the administration of prescribed doses of medical gases and the set-up and administration of therapeutic treatment and aerosolized drugs to patients
Uses oxygen mixtures in conjunction with therapeutic respiratory therapy equipment
Qualification
Required
High school graduate or GED equivalent
Currently enrolled, with successful completion of three semesters, and in good standing with a Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) approved respiratory care program
BLS certification
