Responsibilities
Maintain and evolve simulation software libraries that model tactical components and operational environments
Define, design, code, test, integrate, and verify embedded simulation software using JIRA, Git, and Confluence
Manage and develop a multidisciplinary team, providing technical coaching, career development, and performance feedback
Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities while ensuring adherence to standards, processes, and tools
Lead recruitment, training, salary planning, and competency development; act as the technical conscience for the program
Qualification
Required
Experience in software development lifecycle including requirements analysis, design, code and unit test, and hardware/software integration and verification
Development of embedded software in C++ and Linux operating system
Experience in an Agile environment using JIRA, Git and Confluence
Ability to apply appropriate standards, processes, procedures and tools throughout the development lifecycle
Experience in leading a multidisciplinary team, providing technical coaching, career development, and performance feedback
Ability to plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities while ensuring adherence to standards, processes, and tools
Must be a U.S. citizen
Possess an active Secret clearance to start
