Regional Sales Director – East
Element Biosciences is dedicated to empowering the scientific community and is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Director to lead the sales team for the Eastern region. This role involves managing the customer journey, developing sales strategies, and collaborating with various departments to achieve sales goals.

Responsibilities
Posses in-depth knowledge and understanding of the Life Sciences Tools market and knowledge of competitive products in the Next Generation Sequencing space and adjacencies
Establishes and executes on strategies for obtaining new customers and maintains/grows existing customer accounts in order to meet and exceed revenue goals
Demonstrates capability to present versatile and unique solutions during customer negotiations in order to establish mutually beneficial circumstances for the customer and Element
Excellent communicator with best-in-class customer service skills who can quickly navigate any situation to reach desired goals
Work with leaders across the company and sales team to ensure the East region hits all sales and revenue goals
Collaborate with the regional marketing department to establish campaigns, design print and online promotional materials for the company's products and services
Assist in recruiting and hiring field teams and develop and execute training and onboarding programs
Coordinate sales interactions with Customer Support and Marketing organizations to ensure great end-to-end customer experiences
Manage sales budgets, set quarterly and annual sales goals: you will work with Finance and Commercial Operations team to ensure that team and individual goals are measured and rewarded and provide detailed sales forecasting to Finance and Operations
Monitor the market and competitor products and activities
Review customer activity, anticipate consumer needs, and improve customer satisfaction
Qualification
Required

Bachelor's degree in a life science or business-related field required; Graduate degree in a life science or business-related field may be advantageous
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Senior Sales leadership position in Life Science
Start-up or early-stage company experience ideal
Proven experience working cross-functionally across regions and across departments
Strong managerial experience with proven experience building teams and driving revenue
Frequently moves boxes weighing up to 20 pounds
Domestic travel up to 50%
