Responsibilities
Lead out with agentic engineering, architectural leadership across our platform, and assist in evolving our engineering practices for our global remote team
Work as a partner with product and design to plan features that are architecturally sound
Work productively with remote engineers in the US and around the world
Develop highly scalable and lightning fast enterprise SaaS system architectures
Build world class user experiences
Design enterprise UI architecture for components, themes, and coding patterns
Implement asynchronous queues & streams, patterns & technologies, and determine when to use them
Develop monorepo strategies, micro services, domain driven design, and other patterns that help enterprise teams collaborate on large projects and platforms
Create highly scalable, versionable, and fast APIs, including Rest and GraphQL styles
Manage data systems including transactional, SQL, NoSQL, performance caching, and reporting
Mentor other engineers of all levels
Qualification
Required
Significant experience in agentic engineering practices increasing output and quality of code
Experience working as a partner with product and design to plan features that are architecturally sound
Experience working productively with remote engineers in the US and around the world
Experience with highly scalable and lightning fast enterprise SaaS system architectures
Experience building world class user experiences
Experience with enterprise UI architecture for components, themes, and coding patterns
Experience with asynchronous queues & streams, patterns & technologies, and when to use them
Experience with monorepo strategies, micro services, domain driven design, and other patterns that help enterprise teams collaborate on large projects and platforms
Experience with highly scalable, versionable, and fast APIs, including Rest and GraphQL styles
Experience with data systems including transactional, SQL, NoSQL, performance caching, and reporting
Experience mentoring other engineers of all levels
Expert & highly experienced software engineer well-versed in many languages
Excited about working in React, Node.js and Elixir
Strong focus on shipping software and running services that matter to customers, users, and the company
Ability to communicate effectively and understand its importance in the role
Ability to recognize valuable meetings versus dogmatic ceremony
Humble enough to adapt to frameworks, technologies, constraints, and people
Ability to make pragmatic technology choices
Willingness to learn from mistakes and teach others
