The Deal Analytics Consulting Intern will assist clients in the M&A process by delivering analytical insights and working collaboratively with team members to identify key pre-deal risks and issues.

Responsibilities
Perform (as part of a team) data analytics for clients who are acquiring or divesting businesses (US and international)
Prepare detailed financial analysis to help clients evaluate their acquisition and divestiture decisions and financing requirements
Participate in client meetings and site visits while interacting with top-level management to obtain pertinent information for financial analysis
Interact with the other functional areas of the practice including tax, audit and other consulting practices
Represent the firm in community activities and professional association
Qualification
Required
Pursuing B.A. / B.S. degree or equivalent from an accredited university
Major and/or minor in Accounting, Finance and/or Data Analytics
Travel is required. Must have access to and ability to arrange for use of reliable modes of transportation to those locations
Ability to travel 10%-20% locally and nationally
A minimum 3.5 GPA is preferred

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work as an effective member of a team
Motivated to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong computer skills, including MS Office (primarily Excel and PowerPoint) and at least one advanced data tool such as Alteryx, Python, PowerBI, SQL
