Responsibilities

Witnessing testing, reviewing test data, managing range requirements, developing Range Notifications, and integrating the Range Integration Team
Participate in Failure Review Boards (FRBs) and provide guidance on Range reportability concerning the Tracking, Telemetry, and Flight Termination Subsystem electronics
Support on-site as needed for FBM In-Tube Conversion at the Strategic Weapons Facilities and serves as the technical guidance on Range reportability for TMK related issues during conversion
Generate technical reports and Range Safety Notifications on TMK anomalies when required
Interface with the Air Force's 45th Space Wing
Prepares presentations and technical briefings to support FBM Flight Readiness, Safety Review Boards and Program Reviews
Maintains a close relationship with the U.S. Navy to ensure customer requirements are fulfilled
Provide direction in FRBs, presenting status to Senior Stakeholders, and understanding when Sr. Stakeholders needs to be informed of potential issues
Providing guidance on general safety issues

Required

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related Engineering degree or related equivalent experience
Experience with major reviews (SRR/PDR/CDR)
Knowledge of flight tests, Range Safety, or Range requirements (e.g., RCC-319)
Ability to organize/plan activities for multiple projects at a time (multitasking)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, with the ability to lead multi-functional teams, build strong relationships with team members and build consensus among peers
