Business Development Manager - Multiomic Services
Signios Biosciences is a US-based arm of MedGenome, focusing on multiomics and bioinformatics services to enhance drug discovery and development. The Business Development Manager will drive sales and establish new accounts while managing relationships within the life sciences sector, particularly targeting underrepresented regions.

Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities through targeted prospecting to achieve territory sales targets
Develop and execute territory growth plans aligned with company service offerings
Generate and qualify leads to build and maintain a robust sales pipeline
Acquire new clients through strategic outreach, referrals, and networking activities
Represent the company at conferences, trade shows, regional events, and industry exhibitions
Establish new accounts and manage existing strategic relationships across key customer segments including small biotech, biopharma, and academic researchers
Maintain and grow existing accounts by ensuring high level of customer satisfaction and long-term retention
Identify and execute cross-sell and upselling opportunities within existing client accounts
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet customer needs
Track, manage, and report sales activities and performance using CRM systems
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar CRM platforms
Analyze CRM data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
Qualification
Required
Bachelors of Science in Life Sciences, Biology, Molecular Biology or Genomics related field required
3+ years of sales or account management experience within the life sciences sector
Required 1+ years of sales or account management experience within the NGS Services sector
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
Experience selling into pharma, biotech, and/or academic research organizations
Ability to quickly generate pipeline and drive near-term revenue
Hands-on experience using Salesforce (SFDC) and HubSpot CRMs for outreach, pipeline and lead management
Strong technical understanding of NGS services and the evolving competitive landscape and market required
Ability to maintain in-depth knowledge of customers, markets, and service offerings
Established relationships within academic and/or biopharma R&D communities
Customer-focused approach with a strong emphasis on relationship building and retention
Hunter mindset with proven prospecting, lead generation, and closing capabilities
Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong communication, listening, and problem-solving skills
Analytical and data-driven approach to sales performance and decision-making
Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently
Positive, collaborative team player who thrives in dynamic environments
Willingness to travel and work with globally distributed teams
