Responsibilities
You will manage the full lifecycle of laptop deployment, from initial setup to hands on delivery and follow up support
This includes imaging and configuring devices using modern enterprise deployment tools, coordinating equipment refreshes, and assisting users as they transition to new hardware
Your day to day work will include preparing laptops using Lenovo Cloud Deploy and Windows AutoPilot, ensuring systems are configured accurately and securely
You will support data continuity by handling file, bookmark, and profile backups and restores, and you will make sure shipping and tracking details are documented correctly for all devices
You will serve as a direct point of contact for end users, providing clear communication, answering questions, and resolving issues related to newly deployed equipment
This role requires a high level of professionalism, patience, and attention to detail, as you will often be the face of IT during device refreshes
In addition to laptops, you will assist with refreshing and deploying other IT hardware as needed
This includes coordinating device returns, retrieving legacy equipment, and making regular trips between work areas and the mailroom to manage incoming and outgoing technology assets
Qualification
Required
Hands on technical work experience
Experience in IT deployment and end user support
Ability to manage the full lifecycle of laptop deployment
Experience with imaging and configuring devices using modern enterprise deployment tools
Familiarity with Lenovo Cloud Deploy and Windows AutoPilot
Ability to support data continuity by handling file, bookmark, and profile backups and restores
Strong communication skills to serve as a direct point of contact for end users
High level of professionalism, patience, and attention to detail
Comfortable working with enterprise Windows environments
Ability to explain technical steps in a calm and approachable way
Organized and reliable with the capability of managing multiple device deployments
Physical ability to lift and transport equipment weighing up to thirty pounds
Comfortable moving devices safely between locations throughout the workday
