Responsibilities
Support integrity and consistency of business plans across the full portfolio
Ensure one current, point-in-time plan per asset with clear assumptions, targets, and version control
Distinguish execution variance from plan failure and escalate with clear recommendations
Own and drive cross-portfolio initiatives that fall outside standard multifamily execution, including retail strategy, insurance, tax optimization, and capital structure
Lead analysis and develop recommendations that inform both portfolio-level and asset-level decisions
Drive initiatives that improve performance, reduce risk, and increase scalability
Monitor portfolio performance trends and surface risks, misses, and inflection points early
Support formal re-baselining when assumptions break to ensure execution teams operate against reality
Produce clear, fact-based performance views grounded in economics—not optics
Support hold/sell, refinance, recapitalization, and disposition decisions across the portfolio
Assist with capital markets execution, investor coordination, and approval processes
Coordinate across teams to align priorities and reduce friction in capital decision-making
Work closely with senior leadership to ensure execution aligns with approved business plan economics
Push clarity and accountability without managing day-to-day execution
Escalate decisively when execution, timing, or resourcing threatens portfolio outcomes
Qualification
Required
3 – 6 years in real estate acquisitions and/or asset management
Proficiency in financial modeling and portfolio analytics
Exposure to operationally focused asset management
Experience supporting value-add and core+ business plans
Strong financial judgment and underwriting fluency applied to real decisions
Preferred
Multifamily and/or retail asset management experience is a plus
