Responsibilities
Support supplier productivity, efficiency, and process improvements
Review and evaluate manufacturing line layouts, work instructions, capacity, and staffing levels
Monitor product changes and assess operational impact
Understand supplier workflows, production flow, and constraints
Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation
Communicate supplier status, risks, and operational updates to internal stakeholders
Attend internal and project-related meetings
Travel between supplier sites within the Houston area as needed
Qualification
Required
Operations or manufacturing experience
Understanding of manufacturing environments
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Strong communication and stakeholder update skills
Preferred
Experience with fabrication and assembly operations
Knowledge of welding and/or electrical engineering concepts
Exposure to supplier or vendor operations
2–5 years of relevant experience preferred (no upper limit)
College degree preferred but not required if equivalent experience is demonstrated
