Required

Certified Oncology Data Specialist (ODS-C) responsible for abstracting, casefinding and reporting data accurately in compliance with the national cancer data and accreditation standards
In-depth knowledge of oncology coding
In-depth knowledge of staging
In-depth knowledge of reporting standards
In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements
Proficiency in data analysis tools and software
Strong attention to detail
Associate's degree required, preferably in Cancer Registry Management, health/technology, or related field
Oncology Data Specialist certification or certification eligible per National Cancer Registrar Association requirements
Certification must be obtained within 18 months of hire
Able to thrive in a remote work environment
Self-motivated with critical attention to details and deadlines

Preferred

Minimum three (3) years ODS/cancer registry experience preferred
Strong understanding and proficiency in using electronic health records and cancer registry software (i.e., CRStar)
Prior experience with cancer accreditation (i.e., CoC, NAPBC) preferred
