Responsibilities
Successful candidates will work with management and company employees to learn daily processes within Hy-Vee’s supply chain
Responsibilities will be similar to what is expected of an entry-level supply chain professional
Complete project work involving reviewing large sets of data and proposal of any changes needed to improve operations
The position will include learning daily processes needed to successfully service customers with the expectation of contributing new ideas in the form of a final presentation or paper at the conclusion of the internship
Qualification
Required
Strong academic candidate
Experience with team leadership and teamwork, especially outside the classroom
Skilled in the following applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Ability to effectively communicate, verbally and written
Experience with problem solving and organization
Ability to be successful in a fast-paced environment
Relationship-building skills
Qualifications include working toward, or recently acquired, a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Economics, Industrial Engineering, Transportation, etc
