Responsibilities
Assist in securing cloud environments (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP) by applying security best practices and baseline configurations
Support the implementation and maintenance of Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies, roles, and permissions
Help identify and remediate cloud security risks, misconfigurations, vulnerability scanning, and compliance gaps
Assist with security logging, monitoring, and alerting using CSPM and third-party tools
Support incident response efforts, including investigation, documentation, and remediation tracking
Help automate security controls and checks using scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps)
Document security processes, findings, and recommendations clearly and accurately
Stay up to date on emerging cloud security threats, tools, and best practices
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing an Undergraduate or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field
3.0 cumulative GPA or higher
To be eligible you must be currently enrolled as a full-time student (undergraduate) or part time (graduate) as defined by your university at the time of application
This job requires on-site work at our Global Headquarters in Addison, TX
Strong interest in application security, DevSecOps, and cloud technologies
Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) and version control systems (e.g., Git)
Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills
Preferred
Junior or Senior academic standing preferred
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and DevOps tools is a plus
