Responsibilities
Oversee inventory accuracy, restocking, and proper handling of parts and materials
Process repairs, manage stock placement, track timestamps, and deliver components to technicians for service or repair
Maintain control over inventory and vendor materials while adhering to departmental budgets
Monitor and analyze stock levels, propose reorder adjustments, and manage purchase orders and requisitions
Track and update nonconforming parts, maintaining an effective cross-reference system
Collaborate with department managers to ensure budget compliance and operational efficiency
Assist with inventory problem resolution, conduct periodic physical inventory, and coordinate with Accounting and auditors
Source and evaluate vendors to support plant-level services and manage warranty claims with OEMs
Participate in training programs to enhance purchasing, supervisory, and management skills
Contribute to process improvement initiatives, cost reduction programs, and quality initiatives
Support customer service and operations teams with parts transactions while promoting safety and core organizational values
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree or equivalent technical education, or a combination of education and relevant experience
Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, including basic math and data interpretation
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and handle multiple tasks in a standardized environment
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members, customers, and management
Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to prioritize work in a fast-paced setting
Team-oriented mindset with a focus on collaboration and continuous improvement
