Principal Test Architect

Responsibilities

Responsible for test strategy for all aspects of the program and defines metrics to gauge progress
Responsible for defining or optimizing test environments and requirements to ensure on-time deliveries
Drive rapid delivery from concept to completion and facilitate the transition between Engineering Development and Production Test Program Phases to optimize production assembly and test solutions
Responsible for interface and coordination with internal and external organizations on test strategy, coordination, execution, and reporting activities
Extensive interaction with Program Managers, Directorate Leads, Chief Engineers, and Technical SMEs
Coordinate with other program IPTs/CPTs to draw on their subject matter experts to address emergent issues across the systems, software and hardware domains
Represent the interests of the Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) directorate on the program and interface with the customer community on a regular basis to share test status, issues, and address programmatic concerns
Mentoring junior Test Architects on the JSOW program in the performance of their duties
This position requires domestic and international travel

Required

Typically requires a Bachelor's in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of eight (8) years of prior relevant experience
Experience with Model Based Engineering
Experience with integration and qualification testing in surface launched flight test or related areas
Active and transferrable final U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. US citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Preferred

Proven experience working with customers to develop program integration and test strategies
Graduate or enrolled in the Raytheon Test Architect Development Program
Platform Integration and Test work with aircraft
Experience leading a team and overseeing performance
Strong interpersonal & communication skills
Experience with DoD or similar major programs throughout the product lifecycle
