Responsibilities
Lead Series A fundraising strategy end-to-end
Build and maintain a best-in-class financial operating model
Own budgeting, forecasting, runway management, board/investor reporting, monthly close oversight, KPI dashboards, and unit economics
Build the operating cadence: weekly exec rhythms, cross-functional KPI reviews, and accountability mechanisms
Partner with Commercial, Product, Regulatory/Quality, and Supply Chain to scale systems for growth
Identify operational bottlenecks and implement processes/tools
Lead key vendor/partner relationships and negotiate major commercial/operational agreements as needed
Qualification
Required
You have raised a Series A or led Series A rounds from the VC side
You've led and operated a team and technology either for a startup or for a department within a company
Direct experience in medtech
Fluency with financial tooling and data (models, dashboards, CRM/ERP/reporting)
Preferred
Chicago or NYC preferred
