Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements through interviews, workshops, and user stories
Write clear, well-structured business requirements and functional documentation
Analyze and map business processes to identify gaps and optimization opportunities
Collaborate closely with IT teams to design and implement technology solutions aligned with business objectives
Work with cross-functional teams on time-sensitive energy data analysis to summarize business goals, initiatives, and customer performance
Ensure alignment of solutions with multiple stakeholders across business and technical teams
Support project delivery through participation in testing, validation, and solution verification activities
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in Business Analysis or Functional Analysis within the Energy & Utilities industry
Strong analytical skills, including the ability to translate complex raw data into meaningful summaries
Hands-on experience with Data Analytics, SQL, MS Access, and Power BI
Proficiency with business analysis techniques and tools such as UML or BPMN
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field
4+ years of proven experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Analyst in the Energy & Utilities domain
U.S. Citizenship or Green Card required
Preferred
Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall development methodologies
Knowledge of Energy & Utilities IT systems, Clean Energy, and Energy Efficiency programs
