Responsibilities
Owning and reviewing business-purpose loan documentation end-to-end
Advising senior leadership on legal risk, compliance, and execution
Managing the preparation and review of loan documents at scale
Leading a small legal function (paralegal support)
Working closely with credit, operations, and leadership in a fast-decision environment
Qualification
Required
Experience within private / non-bank real estate lending or adjacent platforms
Comfortable operating as the sole senior legal voice in a founder-led business
Practical, commercially minded, and non-corporate in style
Law firm backgrounds are welcome where combined with relevant in-house lending experience
