Responsibilities
Produce and manage commercial accounts, with emphasis on:
Commercial property
General liability
Package policies and layered programs
Prospect, develop, and close new commercial opportunities
Work with ownership and account management to structure coverage for complex risks
Leverage McCorkle Insurance’s carrier relationships to deliver competitive solutions
Maintain strong client relationships with a focus on retention and account expansion
Cross-sell and round accounts where appropriate
Maintain accurate documentation and compliance standards
Qualification
Required
Licensed Commercial Property & Casualty insurance agent
Proven experience in commercial lines production
Ability to bring an existing book of business or demonstrate a clear track record of writing mid-to-large commercial accounts
Strong knowledge of commercial property
Strong knowledge of general liability
Comfortable working independently while collaborating with an established agency team
Professional, ethical, and relationship-driven
Preferred
Strong knowledge of coastal and catastrophe-exposed risks
