Responsibilities
Support the review and interpretation of regulatory requirements related to Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) for Packaging Waste; assess impacts to the Company’s products in collaboration with Legal, develop and document a compliance strategy, align the strategy with key stakeholders, and lead enterprise-wide execution, including regulatory reporting and filings
Monitor and assess new and emerging regulatory developments related to EPR and packaging waste
Engage with stakeholders, subject matter experts (SMEs), and process partners to ensure successful project planning and execution
Facilitate meetings to align on strategy development, execution plans, and progress
Partner with cross-functional teams to collect required data and supporting information
Analyze data to identify trends, insights, and actionable outcomes
Prepare and format regulatory reports in accordance with applicable requirements
Submit required reports and filings to regulatory authorities in a timely manner
Collaborate with industry peers through industry associations, working closely with internal teams such as Government Affairs, Product Groups, Legal, Logistics, and Procurement, as well as external industry organizations, to develop and implement a robust compliance strategy
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 10 years of professional experience with a Bachelor's degree (BS or BA) in a science-based discipline (e.g., mathematics, materials science, engineering, physics, chemistry, or related field); advanced degrees require a comparable level of relevant professional experience
Proficiency with standard office-based software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Ability to perform basic data analysis using Microsoft Excel
Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn new tools, processes, and regulations
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
Effective communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams
Self-motivated, with the ability to take self-Initiative and work independently
