Responsibilities
Quickly and efficiently identifying problems with vehicles using diagnostic equipment
Performing routine automotive maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire rotations, transmission flushes, air conditioner re-charges, front-end alignments, battery installations and replacements, and brake pads replacements
Communicating vehicle issues and repair plans to the service advisor and to customers when necessary, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
Ensuring the service area is clean, safe and organized to facilitate quick turn-around of vehicles
Keeping up-to-date with the latest technical specifications of vehicle makes and models serviced by the company
Qualification
Required
Previous experience as an automotive technician or mechanic, preferably within a dealership environment
Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset
Proficiency in using the latest automotive repair tools and diagnostic software
A valid and clean driver's license
Preferred
Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification is highly desirable
