Senior Billing Analyst

LHH is seeking a Senior Billing Analyst responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices across multiple billing platforms. The role involves handling complex billing issues, supporting cross-functional teams, and driving improvements in billing accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities

Prepare, review, and submit accurate invoices across various customer portals and third‑party billing platforms
Maintain up‑to‑date customer billing profiles, platform credentials, and required documentation
Verify billing data for accuracy, including pricing, taxes, purchase orders, and contract requirements
Ensure invoices comply with customer requirements, internal policies, and contractual terms
Research and resolve complex billing discrepancies, including rejected invoices, PO mismatches, and submission failures
Collaborate with internal teams such as Sales, Collections, Finance, and Customer Service to troubleshoot and correct billing issues
Communicate with customers as needed to clarify billing requirements, documentation needs, and outstanding issues
Generate, review, and analyze billing reports to ensure data accuracy and identify trends or systemic issues
Monitor billing productivity and aging of unresolved or rejected invoice items
Support month‑end close activities, including billing reconciliations and documentation
Identify opportunities to improve billing efficiency, accuracy, and compliance
Recommend updates to workflows, SOPs, and cross‑functional processes
Assist with system updates, testing, and enhancement efforts related to billing platforms and ERP tools
Maintain organized billing records and support audit requests by providing accurate documentation
Ensure adherence to internal controls, financial policies, and industry‑standard compliance requirements

Required

3–5 years of billing or accounts receivable experience, with increasing levels of responsibility
Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., JD Edwards or comparable platforms)
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
Strong communication and customer service skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred
