Paint - Powder

Electro-Mechanical, LLC is seeking a Paint-Powder team member to join their facility in Bristol, Virginia. In this role, you will support the continuous manufacturing process by applying coatings to components, maintaining paint equipment, inspecting finished goods for quality, and contributing to process improvement initiatives.

Manufacturing

Responsibilities

Comprehend and follow shop procedures, standard practice instructions, prints, diagrams, and other written and verbal instructions to determine job requirements such as color and paint thickness
Manipulate apparatus and components to required workstations, equipment, stations, and positions
Able to use hand tools and air tools
Comprehend and observe all safety and quality standards and participate in Kaizen and Area Focus Teams
Maintain powder paint application equipment and develop professional knowledge of use through practice
Inspect finished goods to ascertain adherence to ISO quality standards
Using manual tools, occasional solvents, and cleaning supplies to maintain a clean and orderly work area
To maintain regular and timely attendance, to work efficiently, and to work overtime when required, all sufficiently to support the continuous manufacturing process
Work in close concert with, and get along with, co-workers

Required

High school or GED equivalent with a relevant Tech school or appropriate combination of education, training, skills, and experience
